I got a Dell laptop last month from my parents. They also installed me an ADSL Internet connection. A friend installed me software for movie downloading. That software was BitTorrent. For a while, everything worked fine. Since yesterday, my Internet connection is too slow. What is best security program combination?

From my experience, I am certain that you have some sort of virus from Downloader or Trojan category. Its job is to gain access to hard disk content on your computer to his owner. That is the common problem for Torrent users. I had to reinstall my Windows twice because of torrent using. However, at last I found out what is the cure and that cure is also an answer to your question. The cure I've been using for last four months is combination of AVG and Seagate Personal firewall. Use AVG from the Safe mode to clean all viruses from your computer and then, install Seagate. I think you will be safe enough after that.
