Hello! I am an amateur photographer, and of course I own a lot of pictures. And those pictures are pretty large, like 5 Mb or so. You know, all these modern cameras have great memory storage, so you dont need to save pictures in JPEG. Its 60 GB actually, and I was thinking to back it up. I decided to use DVD media. So, what is the best media for picture storage? Pictures are different then any other kind of files because you need to have really fast access to them. So, what to choose?

Why DVD man? Memory storage is extremely cheap nowadays, so why to use DVD? Common, dont try to save on this, buy an external memory storage. For example, sDATA has this 120 GB drive which is extremely small, like a cigarette box. It has a USB connection without external supply so its very practical. I mean, you dont have to choose sData. Choose anything you like, they are cheap any way. They average cost is approximately 200 $. 200 buck man, that is nothing and these picture of yours are very important, right? If you still want to use a DVD media, choose Verbatim. They still dont have a real concurrency, you know, they are brand. If I was on your place I wouldnt choose any of these options. I would choose the internet. Good Luck!
