Hi there! I started to use DSL connection yesterday. I never want to use dial-up again! What I wanted to ask you is there some free download manager on the net and how it works? Is it good or better than windows default download option? Is there an option if my connection fails, that I could download from the same point? Not as the stupid one from windows, it makes you download everything all over again! Thanks a lot!

I see what you mean. Speed is everything! Now days there are a lot of download managers but whats most important they are FREE! Depending on from what browser you use (IE, Mozilla, Opera) same way browsers suggest what is the best to comply with them. I think, and thats my favorite, that Flash-Get is the best on net. Its totally free and it has a load of options with which you could make your download manager a tiny Sesame cave! And what is also good to know as I see you have had pretty much trouble with that issue yes, it can continue downloading a file whenever theres some drop. And that is the best thing for free download manager!
