I have been using the internet for last two years and everything worked fine. However, since few months ago, I could not defend from viruses, especially Trojans. I even reinstalled my operating system twice but it did not help me for a long. After a day or two on the Internet and I have the same problems. Since yesterday, I start using Mozilla and Norton AV antivirus. When I try to update Norton AV, it won't cooperate. Why? Can you recommend me best free AV monitoring/removal tools?

There are other browsers beside the Internet explorer. Mozilla is definitely one of the most popular browsers on the net. Firefox is even more popular. Many users think that they are better then Explorer. I do not think that your problems are related to using Explorer. I am also spending much time on the Internet, I am using Internet Explorer, and I do not have any problems. That my opinion is right shows that first place as the most popular internet browser goes to Internet explorer. You just need some reliable anti-spyware software like SpyBot S&D, which is efficient and free. You also need some good anti-virus software, which is efficient and free. Norton AV is OK but it is not free and you probably don't have license to update it. As best free AV I could recommend you AVG Free and I am completely satisfied. If you have XP, you will also need Service pack 2 to be installed.
