| Well I guess I could say Hi to be polite but not really in such a great mood right now. Reason why I am being such a lousy person this moment is that I am really having huge battle with viruses, spams, Trojans etc since I bought my first computer. I have been using loads of them but never quite satisfied. So I guess this will be the eternal question , or million dollars one: which is best antivirus recently? |

| Hello! Huh that is really annoying I should know, been there felt that. Anger developed by the annoying malwares that appeared unwanted on my PC is the worst feeling that I can get. And they evolved so fast, sneaky little things always finding the way to get in. I made loads of AV changes and never quite satisfied just like you. I stopped counting how many AV programs I have changed so far, and also heard many opposite opinions in the matter which one is the best. Some people sticking with Kaspersky that was booed by many others, especially by experts that are usually sticking to Norton or McAfee. I am sticking on that one in boo group of people, even though must admit had the highest number “in virus recognizing AV competition “that includes all antivirus programs that I used. But it was freezing my system very often so I couldn’t keep it on account that it won gold medal in previously mentioned competing. Then I used AVG which is hacked at the end of the last year, don’t know if it is just a rumor, but still that fact makes me uncomfortable having it. Many people use NOD32 praised by the experts, flaw is that has complicated interface so it is a bit for sophisticated PC users. My complain on NOD32 was it never found some bad things that were stuck on my PC like Norton Symantec AntiVirus did. Norton products have some bad reviews even though are among top ten on best AV list are also discussable ones but it is good for filtering spams. People in most cases advise could call those triple A: AVG, AviraAntiVir and AVAST! as the best of the free to download ( not paying for them )ones. Zone Alarm “spam filter “works apparently fine, and people praise MacAfee, Norton, Kaspersky, Zone Alarm, Panda AV Platinum for different reasons. In general, AV choice depends on compatibility with your system and firewall you use matter, and what the current state of that program- is meaning is it vulnerable at the moment, got hacked and things like that. I say very often unless you aren’t some hacker, you will never be completely safe, so the more protection (AV, firewall, different antispam cleaners, registry cleaners, etc) you put on your PC the merrier! |
