| There are a lot of distributions: Tao Linux, Fedora Linux Core 4, Mandriva Linux, RedHat Enterprise Linux 4.x, openSUSE 10x86 64 Edition, Ubuntu Breezy Badger for x86 64 What the best for 64 CPU and beginners is depends on your taste and planed usage. For me, the best is Ubuntu. Simply installation: just boot CD and run; there is no chance to do not understand something. Graphical desktop environment is very common and descriptive. You can download it from Ubuntu official site. |
