Unfortunately, my hard drive is filled up to the last byte and I need to buy another. After searching through forums and reading several advertisements with technical references I was not able to decide which drives are best. According to references, there are not significant differences between different brands and on forums people have contradictory opinions about same hard drives. Can you recommend me best hard drives?

That is a little bit hard thing to do. You have a lot different types of hard drives. Do you need ATA or SATA, IDE or SCSI, internal or external drive? They all have different specifications and, of course, different prices. If you do not have some exotic needs for external SCSI or something like that than try to decide between Western Digital and Seagate hard drives. They have quality drives in almost all categories. Also Hitachi had a few excellent products which is not surprise because they inherited hard drive production from IBM while ago and IBM drives where, in my opinion, the best.
