Best Hard Drive For Primary Use?

I have a Maxtor hard drive now and Iâ€™m using it as my primary hard drive. Iâ€™ve heard that their hard drives are better if you use them for storing music and movies and such things so I decided to buy another one to be my primary hard drive. Which one do you think is the best one to be running OS from? Thanks!

I donâ€™t think that the brand of a hard drive decides if itâ€™s better for storage or running OS. What you should probably pay attention to is the cache size since it can sometimes really make a difference in performance. Other than that, I donâ€™t think I could point you to some particular firm and say : â€˜their hard disks are better for primary useâ€™ but maybe someone else doesnâ€™t share my opinion.
