I have a Maxtor hard drive now and I’m using it as my primary hard drive. I’ve heard that their hard drives are better if you use them for storing music and movies and such things so I decided to buy another one to be my primary hard drive. Which one do you think is the best one to be running OS from? Thanks!

I don’t think that the brand of a hard drive decides if it’s better for storage or running OS. What you should probably pay attention to is the cache size since it can sometimes really make a difference in performance. Other than that, I don’t think I could point you to some particular firm and say : ‘their hard disks are better for primary use’ but maybe someone else doesn’t share my opinion.
