I have three computers in the network and all are connected to DSL. I will need a good router, in order to make everything much easier. However, as I have never used routers, I am not sure which one is the best choice for me. It should have 4 ports. Thanks in advance for any recommendation.

There are really many routers on the market and one can easily lose in all the various brands and types. There are several pretty good ones I can recommend. The first one is Linksys BEFSR41. It is an excellent model which is pretty easy to be set up. It also does not cost too much, so I think it is an excellent choice for you. Another fantastic model is D-Link DSL-2540B Router. It works pretty well and it is very dependable. It has a lot of options and a lot of flexibility so that it can easily be used by both simple users and experts. It is also not too expensive, so I suggest you check out both of them. Either one is a great choice.
