I can not install Battlefield 2. During installation process installer gives me an error mentioning some MD5 sum errors and then exits. This is very annoying and I do not know what to do and what these md5 errors mean. Can you give me any advice about this problem and possible solution?

Md5 error mean that files on medium (CD, DVD, hard drive) are different then one originally saved on that media which means they are changed. Md5 is algorithm that is used for comparing files. When developer prepares game (or any other software) for release he calculates md5 sum of the working copy and than places information about this. If md5 sum is different than installer exits because it assumes that files are corrupted. So, you will have to return your copy of Battlefield 2 to reseller and take a working one.
