Battery issue with Dell Inspiron 9200

Hey there! My dell inspiron 9200 is giving me a bit of a headache right now. The battery has just been charged and is full but it the indicator keeps flashing and saying my battery is dead. What could be the problem?

The first thing that comes to my mind is that you might need to clean your battery and the contact. You should take the battery out and you will see a point in which is metal, and the part where it goes into the laptop is metal too. You should try wiping both of it and getting off any dust. I’m sorry if this doesn’t help you but it helped me once.
