What can I say, I think that the processor is dead. I also think that the motherboard is guilty for that. I am not so experienced, but I do know how to enter the BIOS to check the temperature, and it was always showing numbers without any sense. The temperature falls and raises by 20-25 on every second, which is somehow impossible I think. Anyway, I have installed new CPU few days a go, and today the computer didn’t want to power up. Is it possible that the CPU is killed by a motherboard? I have warranty for the processor, so this won’t be a problem for replacement. Thanks in advance.

Hello. I think that none of the motherboards is capable of destroying the CPU, if the CPU is not overclocked. The power strike can damage and kill everything inside. If the cooler stops working than the CPU can be fried, theoretically. Theoretically, because all motherboards do know how to prevent the burning. The heat sensor on your motherboard is bad, and you should flash the BIOS. However, the only way to determine is CPU dead or the motherboard went to heaven, is to place the CPU on another compatible machine.
