Hi. I would like to backup my favorite sites that I added to Favorites in Internet Explorer. Is there an option to back it up, known to someone? I can see no saving option for Favorites. This could be very handy; to clean the list of sites and save it somewhere else in case you need it again.

Hi. You do this via Export and Import tool under File menu. You will get to some kind of Wizard (all this is assuming you use IE 5.0 or higher). Follow it and click Export Favorites when a list of possible tasks appears. There is an option to choose which folder do you want to backup, but if you want to save everything in Favorites, leave the Favorites highlighted. Than you choose where to store files, and that would be all the workaround. You can restore later using Import; just keep a track of where you stored it…
