Hello! I am newbie in IT world and I have many questions. Right now, I am trying to learn some basic things about servers. So, I am wondering how to make backup from server. I know that servers have many files and I want to know where these files are stored. When I ask someone about this, I am getting answer that I am boring. I hope that you will not think that too.

Hello! I do not find that you are boring. I think that your question is very interesting. I cannot remember that anyone before asked me that. You are right about the fact that servers have many data on them and those data must be stored. Usually data from big servers are stored as backup on tapes. In smaller companies, data from servers are stored on DVD media.
