I have Seagate Barracuda 160 GB hard drive with two partitions. One is 30 GB system partition and another one is 130 GB partition for music and movies. I would like to make a backup of whole system with all settings i made from first partition to another one. Is this possible to accomplish?

It is possible. You will need some third party tool like Norton Ghost or Acronis True Image to make exact image of your system partition. If you try to make a backup by simply coping files you will and up with unusable data when you decide to reinstall Windows XP. When you use some of aforementioned tools you will be able to restore system with all settings easily.
