What kind of a virus a Backdoor.graybird is? As I was searching for something over web, I found an offer to scan my computer online at some security site. They specified this virus and are offering a tool for its removal. Is this some kind of especially dangerous virus? Am I to scan my computer via this site?

This is what I found. Backdoor.greaybird is a backdoor Trojan, which means that it gives its creator (or someone else) unauthorized access to your computer. It is frequently in use as a tool by malicious hackers. When this program executes, it performs a set of actions aimed to enable Trojan to survive on a system and open a backdoor. It opens ports on a computer and allows remote connection. The existence of the SvchOst.exe file is an indication of a possible infection. This Trojan is a Delphi application. As for scanning your system online, I don’t know what to say; personally I never do this, but use regular antivirus and spy removing tools, instead.
