Hello! I am a little bit confused and I hope that you will help me to find right answer. When I boot bios there is a cmos setting, right? So, bios and cmos are same thing. But yesterday I have heard that they are not same thing. How that can be possible? Please, explain this to me. Thanks!

When someone said to you to set cmos/bios settings that is same thing. But on the motherboard these two things are completely different. Cmos on motherboard gets power from cmos battery. It contains your system settings (settings which you can change when you boot cmos st; for example date/time). Bios on motherboard has instructions about how your computer boots.
