Hello people. I have a strange situation with Outlook Express 6. I was not able to open several attachments lately and they appear disabled completely. I have tried several things with no avail. I do not know what is wrong here and I would really appreciate if you could help me to solve this mystery.

Hello. This is not a mystery nor a problem. This is completely normal behavior for Outlook Express. OE is configured to disable all potentially unsafe attachments. This includes executable files, screen savers, flash animations, various scripts and ActiveX files. It is wise to leave this setting as is and find another way to receive such files from your friends.
