I'm trying to install Win XP onto a Samsung SATA (Raid 0), but it won't work. The installation seems to proceed OK, but after the last restart, Windows won't boot properly, it restarts right after it shows the logo, and the same thing happens again even in safe mode. Someone told me my motherboard (A8N-SLi Asus) is what's causing this, is that true? How come, if I've got the latest drivers for it? How do I work around this?

If it's not the drivers, it might be your bios configuration isn't set properly. Hate to point out the obvious, but just in case – does your raid volume have the "Boot: Yes" option set this way? In case it's not the motherboard, try running some tests for the HDD, and while you're at it, for RAM as well.
