| I have a computer for last few months and it worked just fine. I have 8600GT card. However, until last summer, whenever I play Soldier of fortune for a little longer, my computer experience slowdowns and, after a while, my game crashes. I think I have the problem with the cooling my video card. How to solve my problems with video card overheating? Are water-cooling video card systems good? |

| You probably right in your diagnose about Soldier of fortune crashes. You are probably experiencing problems with overheating either your 8600GT video card or your chipset or processor. If your computer slows down from time to time and you have an Intel type of CPU then you probably have a problem with its overheating. That is, because Intel processors has the ability to reduce its speed if they detect overheating. To solve that problem, there are water-cooling systems for every computer parts. Those systems became popular, because classic coolers are prone to blocking. However, in the last period, the most popular is passive cooling system with heatsink. Those systems are practically undestroyable, and I like them the most. They do not need any kind of cleaning or maintenance. If you aid them with few case coolers, I think you will be safe enough. |
