I can still remember those nice days when the first Pioneer car stereo was introduced, what a perfect moments. I had so much satisfaction every time during the highway trip and I can still remember the feeling of Dire Straits on the wheels. Ok, that was history. Now, since my Sony DVD player was very loyal so far, but the time passed for him, I am about to replace the drive for something else. Pioneer? Worth of usage? Thanks in advance.

Hello. The time has changed a lot since your first car stereo experience. Pioneer didn’t felt anything spectacular as a company on this field. In fact, the situation was more than worse and vice-versa. Pioneer wasn’t good at all regarding DVD – rom technology. But, after the 110 firmware version release, the related reading problems were more and more lesser every day. LG. They are the leading company.
