For Mac or PC users who have been at a loss about how to rid themselves of their old computers, Apple has a plan. The Mac-maker announced a free computer take-back program on Wednesday.
Available to U.S. customers who purchase a new Mac computer, the program is available through the online Apple Store and at Apple's retail outlets.

The company will accept computers of any ilk -- Mac or PC -- regardless of manufacturer.
