I bought HP Deskjet 1600 CM printer and run Ibook to find it (have Mac 9.0.4.), but from some reason I could not. I don't know what the problem is. I have to tell you that my knowledge of Mac OS isn't representative. Is there problem with my operative system? What I should to do? Thanks!

Maybe this printer is too new for your OS. You should update panther (every thing would be better). But if you are not sure that Ibook would run fast enough or you have some other reason for not update it, then try to update your OS. Go to official Apple site and download updates for your OS. Youll start with 9.1 package, next 9.2.1 and, at the last, 9.2.2. Go to control panel, apple software update and update it. Now try to find printer.
