I am a newbie on the cyber space and still don't know much of its terminology and possibilities. However, recently I heard some guys talking about robots and bots on the Internet. What kind of robots? I couldn't understand what they were talking about. Can you tell me about the use of those robots and bots in software? Anyone tried GroupMail 5.1.036?

By robots, those people were not talking about real robots. They were talking about computer programs, which are called robots or shortly - bots. The complete Internet power depends on those programs. Any site is using it for different purposes. Some sites use them to search on web. Some sites use them for advertising - to send a bunch of spam mails for commercial purposes. Other sites use bots for defend from such spam mails. Webmaster use bots as a help for maintaining links on their sites. Therefore, web without bots would be a hell. Group Mail is software for group mailing and it is rather good.
