I need to reinstall my system soon, because this one is completely damaged. I am wondering now if I should maybe also change operative system, since I have Win 2K INSTALLED. THE SYSTEM IS STABILE AND I PERSONALLY LIKE IT, BUT MY KIDS DON’T. I HAD PROBLEM INSTALLING MANY GAMES FOR THEM, AND THEY ARE BEGGING ME TO INSTALL XP. Anyone still uses Win 2K? Is there a reason I should stick to it?

I have used WIN 2K until recently when I finally changed my operative system, and installed Vista. The only reason why anyone should stick to it, is exactly what you have said – its stability. But, since you have kids that are eager to play games, you should in my opinion make a compromise and install Win XP, for your current operative system is giving you trouble. Windows XP is not bad system at all, Vista is even better but I am not sure if your hardware will support it. So do not hesitate too much. I think Win 2K is still used, but usually at some companies, banks or on some servers and etc.
