Hello. I am looking forward to find some cross-platform download manager plug in. Something like that, you can describe that what I want on this way without problem. I heard that it is possible to share the entire partition as some local host location, and to make it available to all users, even to those without windows, but something else. I am not talking about the VPN networks or more advanced local wifi network if you can understand me.

Hmm, when I first saw your post title, I was thinking about VideoDownlaoderHelper mozilla plug-in for downloading movies and video clips, as it is quite obvious that mozilla is cross platform application, am I right? Now, regarding what you are looking for, you just need to be more precise. As much as you can for the next time.

If you don't talk about VPN and some other kind of network, than what is on your mind, please? Cross platform managers and plug-ins related to these, I mean, there are a lot of free Java based, open source programs with capability to share something between multiple platforms at once. Just search.
