Antivirus disabled at startup?

I have noticed one very strange thing. AVG antivirus is disabled at startup. It used to start together with Windows but now I have to start it manually and after that its icon is grayed out like it is not active. I do not why this is happening. Any help regarding this issue will be highly appreciated. Best regards.

Hello. I think that you have not updated your antivirus program regularly and that you are now infected with some viruses that have disabled antivirus program. Other possible reason for disabled antivirus at startup is broken antivirus installation. Anyway, you should download antivirus again (so you can have all the latest virus definitions) and perform a full system scan in safe mode. Before this you can try to scan your computer with some free online virus scan just to be sure that you r computer will be clean when you install antivirus again.
