Hello. I have finally started with my Online business. I had some strategy on the paper about it, now my web site is finished and I can start with the sale. It is a commercial site by the way. Now, as days are passing by I am more and more concerned about the security and privacy, therefore I really need some tips what is the best common practice for keeping things safe. Thanks in advance.

I suppose you have at least two computers at your home. One for your own needs and the other one for business. If not, than change the practice as soon as you can. Work on one, surf on the other. Follow the advices: Do not let your system out of date, do not let your antivirus software out of date, configure the IP range for your firewall, do not use offline email client but Gmail, Yahoo, MSN, etc. Check for spyware occasionally. When away, plug out the internet cables from your PC or just disable your network adapter. Dont use Internet Explorer for your business and anywhere you can, put strong password. Thats what I would do.
