I have heard for Animated Desktop feature in Vista. Can you explain me what it looks like. Is it like a desktop on MacOS where you can select pictures from the folder and let them work as a slideshow or this is something different? Is this feature available on all Vista editions? Thank you for your reply.

Animated Desktops are available only for Vista Ultimate Edition. Unfortunately, you will not be able to select pictures and make a slide show of them because Animated Desktop feature is working only with video files. Animated Desktop is not distributed together with vista but it is a part of Windows Ultimate Extras package.
