Analog to Digital Video Converter

Hello! I am trying to find something that could help me to convert analog recordings into digital. Now, I am no expert but I tend to learn such things because I like it. Can you tell me what would I need and how can I do the converting in few easy steps. I have a bunch of old recordings which I want to transfer to some DVDs so I could store them at somewhere safe!

Hi there! For that kind of a procedure you will need the following components; 1.VCR 2. Personal Computer (PC) 3. Analog to Digital converting box with which you could convert the recordings from a VCR, DVR and camcorders. And most important patience and the result will show up in the end. You will have to download some software which will give you that interface which will help you guide trough the whole process. Lets say Dr.Divx, this one showed up to be good handling the files. Read a bit of help from the menu, and if you have previously managed everything right, meaning the cables, you could start off with the convering1 Have a good time!
