Hello folks. I have read so much about Radeon 9550 and tweaking of the card to become Radeon 9600 Pro. Now, after I did that, there was found new hardware thing, new drivers were installed. And right after next logon, my PC became useless. Small boxes, or so called artifacts showed up first by playing my favorite game, after just few minutes. Than these started to show up even at ordinary mouse movements on desktop. Installation of the newer drivers didn’t helped at all. What am I supposed to do now? I have destroyed this graphic card? I need help here.

The most smartest workaround for you will be to check out that graphic card on some other machine with AGP slot. Is the situation is the same, try to revert to the original BIOS if possible. Try to flash it again with some slower 9600 BIOS, as you probably tweaked the card with much more aggressive performance than it can accept. The other solution is to replace the motherboard, as it is quite possible that your AGP slot somehow got corrupted, malfunctioned. It happens.
