Hello! I have problem with LavaSoft Ad Aware SE. namely, when I open this software and try to scan my system, my Windows XP just shuts down. I mean, Ad Aware SE is shutting my computer down. Have you ever faced this problem? I have not, so, I do not know what the cause could be. Help me with this please.

Hello! Well, there are two possibilities. I think that you should check RAM, because this is characteristics for problems with it. If RAM is not cause of the problem, then I am afraid that you maybe have some nasty on your system. I suggest you to go to Safe Mode and there first kill all non Windows processes and after that scan your system for malicious software.
