I’ve installed eMule software and I was so happy over the idea that I would be able to download movies, music and games. But when I wanted to connect it, I discovered that I had this low ID. That means I’m behind a firewall and I have to do some port forwarding in order to be able to make eMule work properly, because this way I will never download anything.

First of all, I’d like to warn you that in many countries this is forbidden and if you get caught, you risk paying enormous amount of money to big Hollywood film studios. And I wouldn’t mess with that. Now, I don’t want to sound like your mother, but since you’ve mentioned it, I simply had to say. As for this port forwarding, you have to know the type of your router and then go to eMule site and follow the instructions. When I used this program, port forwarding was very complicated. Now I think they simplified it somehow. Maybe you just have to open some ports in your firewall. Now that’s really easy. Go to your firewall settings and just open the ports that you see on the starting page of eMule and create a new rule for application.
