I have been experiencing a strange problem with my Adobe Premiere lately. While I am working in it, from to time it gives me a direct draw error. After that message, Adobe Premiere immediately shuts down. If I was not save my work before that, I loose all the changes. What can be the reason for that?
Direct Draw is a major part of DirectX, which is main part for multimedia in Windows. Therefore, that error means that your version of DirectX is damaged. You have several options. You may try to uninstall and reinstall again your version of DirectX. If that will not help then you will have to find and download the newer version of DirectX and install that version. It will automatically replace your existing version. If that won't help then you have to try to reinstall your Adobe Premiere. At last, if everything fails then reinstall Windows.
