I am a new user of a PC. My parents both me one last month. I finished a couple of courses about using a PC and some of them were for experienced users. I got interested in that matter and now I need to get some specialized software. To be precise, I couldn't decide between Adobe PhotoDeluxe 4.01 and PhotoShop Elements 2.0. Could you recommend me any?

Somebody said a long time ago: "There are no more or less dangerous weapons, just more or less dangerous fighters". I am just kidding, however a part of that could apply to your question. There are no much difference between softwares. The main thing is which software would be most appropriate for you. Nobody else could tell you that. My advise would be to attempt to try out as much different softwares as you could before you make a decision what software will you buy for yourself. You could do that either by using trial versions or finding people who bought some kind of those softwares. I, personally, use Adobe PhotoDeluxe for those purposes and it completely satisfies my demands.
