Adding a laptop removable HDD to desktop?

Hi all! I want to see if it is possible to attach laptops removable HDD on my desktop computer. How can I do this? I want to determine what the health of my HDD is and to transfer some things from desktop to laptop. I have heard that this is possible but I dont know how so I have decided to ask you, because also I have heard that here you can find any help you need!

Hi there! Depending from the model of your drive and the speed it has you can surely attach removable drive from laptop to your desktop computer. Follow the shape of the connector down in your casing. When you see the proper place where you can attach it do that. You will need cable to transfer data, ATA or SATA and of course, power supply. When you finish this go to BIOS by clocking del button, just to be sure that your removable drive has been recognized. After that you can save & exit and go to Windows to check out what new. I think you wont have any problems.
