I have small home network that consist of three computers. On one of them I have attached Canon Pixma i1500 ink jet printer and I would like to use it as a network printer. How can I configure other two computers to use it as default printer? Thank you in advance.

Setting printer as network printer is easy in Windows XP. First you have to share printer on computer it is attached to. Go in Control Panel Printer and faxes and right click on printer you want to share. In pop up many choose sharing and in next window set printers share name. On other to computers go through usual adding new printer process, just instead local printer choose network printer, find it by name or by computer name on which it is attached and select it. Install driver for printer from other machine and you are ready to go.
