Hello there. I have finally found the right, very old Adaptec graphic card for very old computer, too. I have installed the Windows 98, after that I have successfully managed to install office and everything else, but one problem still remains. And that is main display picture. I just can’t set resolution greater than 640*480 on 17” display. There is no logic, right? Where is the key? Thanks in advance.

I would say that the solution lies inside video card drivers. Is that PCI graphic card? I am asking because those Adaptec products are very old, even Windows 98 usually has adequate support. Anyway, why don’t you try to find the right model written on the GPU board and then to perform some search, based on those numbers on the card? You’ll get lucky over the Google, I can bet.
