Since I have a cable Net I’m constantly online. I know that it can be dangerous since numerous viruses and ad-ware can get into my system. A friend recommended me to buy and install Lavasoft Ad-Aware software which blocks and cleans PC form dangerous intrusions. But version 2007 keeps on freezing my Pc. What to do? My PC is not so new and advanced but I believe that it can’t cause such problem.

Of course it can! The latest software is usually optimized for newer configurations. It’s just like certain games can’t be played on older computers because there’s not enough memory and processors are slower. I think that you have the same problem. But on the other hand, Ad-Aware software is not so demanding as far as I know. It’s a small program and no matter how slow your PC is, there shouldn’t be freezing. Maybe you start too many applications at the same time and your PC is congested. Or maybe you have a virus which jams the PC. My point is that Ad-Aware can’t be the reason for freezing the PC. Check your other applications while running this program.
