| I have recently bought new Adobe Acrobat Reader. I have plenty of e-documents, so it will be essential in my work. However, I do not have a computer that is too fast. Adobe opens pretty slowly, and I have heard it has something to do with the splash screen. Does anyone know how to turn it off? Any suggestion would be useful. Thanks in advance. |

| Adobes programs are indeed pretty demanding, especially when it comes to memory requirements. They demand a lot of RAM to load normally. Adobe Acrobat Reader is no different. What you heard was true, splash screen loads really pretty slowly, so turning it off would definitely solve you problems. To do that, go to 'Edit' set of options in the program. Then click 'Startup'. After that, remove the check next to the 'Display splash screen'. It is really pretty simple, as you can see, so you will not waste too much time setting it up. |
