Hello everyone. I have a problem with Acrobat Reader and Internet Explorer. I can not open .pdf files with Internet Explorer. When I click on link I get only red X in browser window. I have tried different things I found on Internet like enabling add-ons and changing registry entries but nothing helped. Can you provide me some assistance?

Hello there. If you have correctly performed steps for enabling add-ons and editing registry entries that you have rare problem that Acrobat Reader is not working with Internet Explorer because pdf.ocx file is not registered at all (this is performed during Reader installation). To fix this issue you will have to open command prompt and write following command: regsvr32 "c:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Reader\ActiveX\pdf.ocx". Of course, change path to point to ocx file on your computer.
