I have downloaded some documents from internet in PDF format. I thought I could read them because I have Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 installed, but I was wrong. When I try to open PDF documents I receive error that Adobe Reader is not able to open these documents. Problem does not occur with all PDF files. I am able to read some other PDF files without any problem Do you know what is causing this problem.

Only thing that cameos to my mind right now is that these documents are made with newer versions of Adobe Acrobat and that some functions are built in these documents that Adobe Reader 5.0 is unable to interpret. Upgrading to a newer version of Adobe Acrobat should solve you problem with PDF files. I hope that I have helped you.
