Hello! I want to ask you something about accessing FTP. I have heard that this is possible, but I am not sure what FTP actually is or how I can access it. Older brother of my friend told us that he accesses FTP and on that way downloads some things for his company. I hope that you will explain me this.

Hello! FTP is File Transfer Protocol. You can use FTP to access some files ad folders on some web sites or web servers. For this purpose I recommend you Total Commander (I am using version 7.0). When you open Total Commander click on icon Connect to FTP. First time you will need to add FTP server. To do that click on button New Connection. FTP: connection details dialog box will appear and you need to fill required fields. After that, when you use Connect to FTP, you will need just to click on button Connect.
