I have a router connecting my two PCs on the Internet. It is all working pretty well. However, it seems to me that I need to restrict access to some of the websites to my younger brother, especially gaming sites, as he does not seem to be doing any homework. If anyone could help with some instructions about how to do that, I would be grateful. I have DLink DIR-100 router.

Restriction of access is something every router has in common as an option. There are programs too, of course, but doing that through a router is always more effective. To do what you need, type the IP address of your router into your browser. For example, if it is 192.168.1.1, simply enter these numbers. You will see login screen. Login and you will find yourself in front of numerous options. Now, go to advanced and check options on the left. You can choose whether you want to restrict access to Internet completely for a certain computer, or you will enter URL of various addresses you want to restrict his computer's access to. Best of luck.
