All right, here’s the network setup I have: Using Windows Server 2003, I’ve successfully (?) connected two desktop computers and one laptop. The network apparently detects them all properly, they’re shown where they’re supposed to and all, but I can’t access one of them (a desktop) from any of the others. I keep getting the message “administrator access denied”, and can’t share neither files nor printer rights. I really can’t see what I’m doing wrong here. Any thoughts?

It sounds like the problematic client has access rights set to admin only, and that you’re not logging in as admin on the others. Just allow guests to access the first one, and you should be OK. On the machine in question, go to Run from the Start menu, and type the following: “net user guest /active:yes”. See if that works.
