I am really beginners in this whole virtual world. I am trying to earn as much facts as I can. So I want to find out the meanings of some words, and what it is used for. I have A simple question about html. What html stands for and what it is for? I know that those are technically two questions-but they are connected.

HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language. And the name is really complicated, isnt it. Because of that ( you dont want to break your tongue) the most, practically all people use short name. This is used for making WebPages. That is all I know about this topic. I am sorry that I cannot tell you more. This are really simple answers on your simple question. I hope that I helped you a little. But maybe someone that has more experience with this things can tell you more about this topic.
