I have an e-mailing problem. A few friends of mine live in a faraway; meaning at the other side of the big sea, and mail is our only way to communicate. Now, I am regularly receiving very large e-mails with embedded photographs. Some of it I want, some I don’t, but always it takes very long time to download this using dial-up modem. Is there a faster way to delete e-mails, and especially documents within it, before I download it to my computer?

Yes, I know there are some programs that you install just with purpose to delete what you don’t want to download via e-mail client. One such is POP3 Sweeper, but there is the way to do without installing. I always go to web page of my e-mail service provider and open web mail section. This lists all the mails and attached documents, so you can delete massages directly from the server. Programs that you install can save some time because you don’t need to open web pages, you can edit using your computer. I think that almost all modern e-mail services provide web mail service, just find its web page.
