AVG email Scanner won't connect to server

Hello! I have installed yesterday AVG antivirus software. I have problem with this software. Namely, AVG email Scanner won't connect to server. I am afraid that my system is infected and that it is cause of this problem. Please, tell me what I should to do. I hope that it will not be a problem for you. Thank you!

Hello! I think that you have not problem with infected operating system. I think that you did not configure well settings in your AVG antivirus software. I suggest you to double check settings regarding scanning e-mails (I am sure that you will find some mistake). I really hope that you will solve your problem.
