| My computer configuration is following: Intel Celleron 2.4, 512 Mb RAM, Maxtor 40 Gb, Ati Raden x700, and motherboard MSI kt4v. I think that my graphic card is in conflict with a motherboard. SiSoft Sandra reported bad memory buffer, and I heard that it can actually be due to the motherboard. Its working on 500 Mhz, because I adjusted it, and my memory also works on the same frequency. Video card is actually creating this memory conflict because video standard, but I dont know if that standard is supported by motherboard. How to check this? Thanks! |

| Well, I assume that youre a gamer. Some games require a wide variety of protocols, standards, you know. Like Sims for example. If you were a nVidia user, like me, you would have serious problems with Sims. Maybe you are a 3DS MAX user, and in that case you would have some limitations with rendering. Different applications, different protocols. You shouldnt adjust anything, its dangerous, and it can damage your system. Use the previous settings and see if you are still experiencing the same limitations. Conflict can be created when you overclock your processor or adjust motherboard settings like you did. MSI is a fine piece of hardware, and its settings are made to be efficient in most of the applications. 4gv protocol for example, which is used in action games, is specially designed for motion picture applications. |
