I have a problem with ATI Catalyst drivers and Vista 32bit. I can get no picture on my Lenovo Wide Slim TFT monitor when I try to set resolution on 1440x900 at 60Hz. It is even stranger because this is native resolution for this monitor. I can get picture in other modes but not in this one and other modes do not fir well with my needs. Do you know how to solve this issue?

Unfortunately, you can not solve this issue by yourself. This is a known ATI Catalyst drivers bug (one of the many) on Vista operating system. I have heard that they resolved this issue in their new driver update so you could download ATI Catalyst driver ver. 7.7 from July 19. 2007 and install them. Do not forget to uninstall older driver before this action. This should solve your problem (according to ATI).
